My name is Thomas (or Thom), I am based in the UK, and I have been an avid theme park enthusiast for over half of my life. I also have a large interest in multiple disciplines that make theme parks what they are, from day-to-day operations to thematic design

My roots have always been in the entertainment industry — from theatre stages to theme parks.

I’ve been designing attractions using NoLimits 2 for over a decade and building complementary environments in SketchUp. I briefly studied Engineering Design at Elutec, and in 2019, I joined the rides department at Chessington World of Adventures, where I gained firsthand insight into the complex planning and operations that drive daily theme park experiences.

Since then, I’ve worked at Alton Towers and Escapologic, always driven by a passion to create immersive experiences that bring joy to guests. Most recently, I took on a leadership role as Technical Director for the NextGen Showcase, guiding my team in developing a themed area concept for a panel of industry professionals. This experience reinforced my ability to coordinate creative and technical elements, ensuring that the final product aligns with the intended guest experience.

Now, I’m looking to join a creative production team where I can combine creative direction, technical planning, and operational insight to bring concepts to life.
